Powershell (and nushell) is great. The concept of piping and manipulating objects instead of text is so comfortable. Having types is also great.
Administrating Windows would be a nightmare without it.

Why are you running?!
If you spread that stuff on wood or leather, it’ll last forever.
Is there an XKCD What If about this? Sounds exactly like that territory.

Unfortunately people here are mostly incapable of having nuance.

What do you plan to do with it?

That’s proper information density. Looks almost like a japanese web page.
Tomatillos aren’t self pollinating, they need a buddy plant. I have two side by side in my garden and both are producing fruit.

If you have the heat on in an ICE car you get waste heat from the engine blown into the cabin. The AC does nothing in that case. And even if it did, as in the the AC would be run in reverse like a home heat pump in the winter, moisture would be condensed out of the outside air, not the cabin air.

Same goes for Microsoft, Apple and Google. Everyone thought it would go similarly for Pets.com too but then 2000 happened.
The Linkedin guy’s advice is 100% true though, you’re just better off diversifying your risk.
I’ve been at Dachau concentration camp. There were wooden bunk beds multiple levels high where prisoners were crammed.
There’s no evidence of Zyklon B being used to kill people there like in Auschwitz, but people were starved and beaten to death there.
I visited the onsite crematorium too where the still living prisoners were forced to burn the bodies of the dead ones.
Even if it is one of the least bad camps, it still is so terrible. When I visited, people just looked at things in silence because it all is truly incomprehensible. Going there feels like being slapped on the back of your head, truly an eye opener.

Where’s the lunacy? That’s excellent advice.
It’s ironic that you can implement all this cool automation for a device but in the end still have to manually lug water to it.
Every Macbook Air in the coffeeshop crashes out of sheer terror and awe when you unfold that nerdstation.

TV straight against the wall and a couch on the opposite wall. Matress on a bedframe and in a separate room.

Eating PTFE flakes doesn’t cause any harm. It’s inert and just passes through you.

Yeah, to people things are black and white and all or nothing. Even suggesting there might be nuance to things elicits a defensive knee jerk reaction.

The Lemmy userbase seems to have this echo chamber effect where anything to do with AI is categorically bad, doesn’t matter what it is or how it performs.
Also mentioning AI gets your comment downvoted, further increasing the echo chamber effect.
Never thought of the idea of using bananas to ripen. Do they make a lot of difference?
