How many years of updates???

It is not important that you can “turn it off”, it is important that it is installed. Off doesn’t mean not running in the background, sucking up your personal information.

I’ve heard from a couple of creators that some of their videos have just disappeared. Few will say much, and none on record, so I think Google is threatening them somehow. Note, the videos I watch on YT are not political or controversial in any way.
