If I had access to all of the televisions and radios in Imperial America, I would get somebody famous like Zohran Mamdani to read a paper detailing how the upper classes not only facilitated the rise of Fascism in Europe, but also profited from the Axis’s war crimes and survived the twentieth century almost completely unpunished. At the end, he would say something like ‘As I speak, hundreds of thousands of workers are going to seek and despoil the upper classes with the understanding that there is no other way to make them pay for their crimes, and that this course of action is far more preferable to leaving them unpunished.’

You shall see, gentlemen, that this is, without question, the single most antisemitic comment ever written, for a few simple reasons:

• Calling Jews ‘precious’, which puts a price on them, so she or he is actually saying that all Jews are commodities. Strike one.
• Comparing Jews to animals frequently intended for consumption, thereby implying that she or he wants to eat all Jews, as anybody could logically deduce from that. Strike two.
• Saying that anybody who supports Netanyahu is awful, but supporting the war on Gaza supports Netanyahu, and 99.99% of Jews are Zionists, which means that they support the war on Gaza, so she or he is really saying that all Jews are awful. Strike three.

Now you will understand the reasons which have led countries to persecute and isolate those leftists marked by the stigma of their antisemitism. The domination of such leftists within society is disturbing and dangerous for the destiny of the nation.

It is imperative to recognize, though, that the KPD only advocated the blow against the SPD leadership. I think that the comparison to Judas Iscariot is unfair. Judas got dealt a lousy hand in life, having to play the role of a snitch to fulfill a divine prophecy. He suffered pangs of conscience for betraying J.C., so he unsuccessfully tried to return the blood money that he received. He was so upset with the situation that he hanged himself. (That instantly makes me think of the M*A*S*H theme.)

Oh man, it’s been so long and I tried so many that I can’t possibly offer a certain answer… but a good candidate is JumpStart Preschool, which I (barely) remember playing on a Windows computer. Otherwise, it could have been The Busy World of Richard Scarry Busytown, Richard Scarry’s How Things Work in Busytown, Gus Goes to Cyberopolis, Fisher-Price Ready for School: Kindergarten, Fisher-Price Learning in Toyland, Fisher Price Great Adventures: Pirate Ship, or Nick Jr Play Math!

There are many more that I could name, like Oddballz, Pajama Sam in No Need to Hide When it’s Dark Outside, Ozzie’s World, Sesame Street: Numbers, Mr. Potato Head Activity Pack, Play-Doh Creations, and Candy Land Adventure, but I am less sure of those. Finally, there are those titles that I simply can’t find again. There was a point‐and‐click program that mainly took place in a spaceship, and another one where a character said ‘I brush my teeth before I go to bed every night!’, but I’ll be damned if I can find videos of those.

I’m surprised that they made handhelds! I was always under the impression that Soviet video games were more like experimental curiosities than a visible industry. The situation was similar in the Anglosphere back in the 1950s and ’60s: there was not much of a market for them, so they were hard to find (unless you were a computer scientist).
