Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (2019) for Nintendo Switch.
I never actually played this myself—my wife and kid powered through the whole thing in just two days. They loved it. In fact, I think it might be the last RPG my wife finished from start to finish.
It’s a fantastic game on Switch. As for me, I dipped into the sequel… for about half an hour. Haven’t gone back since.
Such a good game, not perfect but decent. And the Studio Ghibli collaboration on the art style is awesome as expected.
The second game is good too, in its own way. They definitely have similarities but also are quite a bit different. I definitely recommend looking at the sequel if they enjoyed the first one.
